How to Stop My Cat from Scratching Furniture?

Mimi has a habit of scratching my couch, and I want to train her to use a scratching post instead. I’ve tried placing the post near her favorite spots, but she still prefers the furniture. Any tips on how to redirect her behavior? What worked for your cats? 🤔🐾
